Bone and Joint Conditions for Massage Therapists

The skeletal and articular systems form the literal and metaphorical framework for massage therapy practice. Understanding their vulnerabilities—fractures, degenerative diseases, joint dysfunctions, and inflammatory conditions—is critical for safe and effective treatment. In this 4-hour course, massage therapists will gain a working knowledge of common pathologies of the bones and joints, focusing on clinical presentation, red flags, contraindications, and when and how to modify or avoid massage.
