Pathologies of the Respiratory, Lymphatic and Immune Systems

PATH-0303 - Pathologies of the Respiratory, Lymphatic and Immune Systems

Lung Health, Breathing Disorders, and Massage Safety

Breath is the rhythm that carries the body. When the respiratory system is compromised by illness or dysfunction, massage therapists must be ready to respond with care, caution, and knowledge.
This 4-hour course introduces students and practitioners to common respiratory system pathologies, including chronic, infectious, and structural conditions. We’ll explore how massage can support lung function, when to modify or avoid treatment, and how to recognize red flags. With a balance of science and clinical application, this course empowers therapists to work safely and confidently with clients who breathe differently.
