Building upon the foundational skills learned in Week 1, this 40 hour course guides students through the next layer of Traditional Thai Massage practice, including side-lying, prone, and seated positions. Students will explore progressive techniques to access the posterior body, lateral structures, and the spine with therapist-safe body mechanics and deepened therapeutic intention. In addition to posture-based instruction, this course emphasizes fluid transitions, rhythm, therapeutic breath awareness, and adaptability for clients with diverse needs. Students will also refine their understanding of Sen energy lines, integrate stretches appropriate to the spine and shoulders, and continue to cultivate presence, mindfulness, and compassion in therapeutic touch.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Completion of THAI 0102 – Week 1 Ability to give and receive full Thai sessions in all four positions Foundational understanding of Thai medical theory and Sen lines
