Bodies in Balance — Anatomy & Physiology MBLEx Preparation

Massage and Bodywork Licencing Exam Preparation

ANAT-PHYS-0394 - Massage and Bodywork Licencing Exam Preparation

Part 4: Bodies in Balance - Mastering Physiology, Systems, and Clinical Conditions for MBLEx Success

Massage therapy supports the body's dance between structure and function—between anatomy and physiology. Bodies in Balance is the third course in the MBLExsplained Series, focused on physiological systems, clinical conditions, and massage-relevant pathologies as required by the MBLEx exam. In this 16-hour intensive, students will explore the body’s interdependent systems—from cells to organs—and how they behave in health, illness, and repair. Through clear lectures, collaborative case reviews, mock questions, and embodied activities, this course bridges the gap between complex medical terminology and everyday client care. We review not only how the body works, but why it breaks down, how to recognize red flags, and how massage can safely support healing or refer out with clarity and confidence.
