Sanitation is not just a checklist—it’s a cornerstone of trust, professionalism, and ethical practice in massage therapy. This 4-hour course is designed to equip massage students, interns, and professionals with the knowledge and skills to maintain a clean, safe, and infection-conscious treatment environment. Topics include universal precautions, proper disinfection, laundry handling, hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), and client communication around cleanliness. Special attention will be given to prevention of communicable diseases, emerging sanitation standards, and creating an environment of safety for clients and practitioners alike. This is an essential course for all massage professionals, especially those in student clinics, shared spaces, or transitioning back to in-person work post-illness or pandemic.
